The Anghelu Ruju Necropolisis one of the most significant prehistoric sites in northern Sardinia and represents a unique heritage of pre-Nuragic culture. Located in the hinterland of Alghero, this funerary complex dates back to the Neolithic and Eneolithic periods (between approximately 4200 and 1600 BC) and consists of over38 tombs carved into the rock, known asdomus de janas("fairy houses").
The tombs, often divided into several rooms, feature engravings and architectural details that recall domestic or symbolic spaces and tell of ancient rites related to burial and the afterlife. The variety of shapes and sizes makes this site particularly appealing to those who love Mediterranean prehistory.
Nuraghe Palmavera is a large nuragic complex located in the Alghero area, in a panoramic position near the road to Fertilia. This structure belongs to the Nuragic civilization (Middle and Late Bronze Age, approximately 15th–9th century BC) and consists of several connected towers surrounded by a village with the remains of dozens of huts.
The site bears witness to how these ancient communities were able to build large-scale defensive and settlement complexes, and offers an immediate insight into daily life in the Bronze Age. Thanks to the information and educational panels on display, the visit is also suitable for those approaching Nuragic civilization for the first time.
The Santu Pedru Necropolis, another prehistoric site with underground tombs carved into the rock, is also located in the vicinity of Alghero. The necropolis contains about 10 tombsdating from the Neolithic to the early Bronze Age and is an important testimony to ancient local funeral practices.

Sant'Imbenia, in the bay of Porto Conte, is one of the most evocative archaeological sites in the Alghero area. The reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of a deposit equal to the amount of the first 2 nights of the stay, to be paid within the terms indicated at the time of booking.
The balance of the total amount of the stay must be paid at check-in.
